La Estrella Bakery

La Estrella Bakery has the best conchas I have tried in Tucson. Conchas have been my favorite pastry since I was a little girl going to the panaderia every Sunday morning with my dad. Since I have such a close connection with this pastry, my standards for a good concha are pretty high, and La Estrella never fails to bring me back to my early childhood in Mexico. There are two locations in Tucson, but I love going to the one in Mercado San Agustin because they have indoor & outdoor seating to enjoy your pan dulce with a cafecito.
